Because we want to make it easy to find that next great read, we’ve pulled together some resources to help you hunt. If you would like recommendations from a staff member, you can call the library at 503-656-2411, fill out the form on our Contact Us page, or email us at gladstonepubliclibrary@gmail.com with one or two titles you recently enjoyed.

novelistplus164After logging onto LINCC with your library card, check out Novelist and Novelist K-8. These databases provide you with a list of similar titles to books you liked.

 

GoodreadsGoodreads is a website designed to help you manage and track what you have read and provide recommendations. Enter a title of a book you enjoyed into the search bar and Goodreads will present you with a list of titles that you might also like.

The New York Times has many different lists of best sellers you can browse for inspiration.

Did you love Rick Riordan’s “The Lightning Thief” but don’t know what the next book in the series is called? You can use the What’s Next database to easily find out the title, series names and what book is next.
