Foreign Movie Night
Monday, June 5th at 6:00 p.m.
Come watch a foreign film at the library on the first Monday of every month. A variety of light, subtitled films will be shown. Call or visit the library, or check our website for more details.

Coffee with a Councilor
Monday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m., and Monday, June 26th at 6:30 p.m.
Twice per month, a council member will meet with the public at the library.

Dr. Who Club

Thursday, June 15th at 6:00 p.m.
Are you a fan of Doctor Who? Meet fellow fans, watch an episode, and share any show related news. All ages are welcome.

Dungeons and Dragons
Monday, June 19th at 4:30 p.m.
Whether you already love D&D or just want to see what it’s all about, join us for an evening of adventure!

Rock Readers Book Club
Tuesday, June 20th at 6:30 p.m.

Children’s Programs

Summer Reading is here! Children and teens from 0 to 18 can get signed up for our summer reading program any time from June to August. They’ll receive a reading log and summer reading packet with cool stuff, plus a free book of their choice to keep. If they read for at least 20 minutes for 20 days through the summer, kids can bring back their reading logs (starting July 1st), and get all kinds of prizes for finishing! Stop by the reference desk for more information.

Summer Reading Kick-off Party
Saturday, June 17th from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Refreshments, activities, and face painting at the library all afternoon.

Toddler Storytime for 0 months to 3 years
Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
This Storytime is geared towards ages 0-3 with songs, books, and play for early development. Older siblings are welcome to sing and dance with us.

All Ages Storytime
No Storytime on June 1st. Thursdays at 9:30 a.m.
All ages are welcome to join us for books, songs, rhymes and movement activities that build literacy and language skills.

Lego Club
Wednesdays, June 14th and 28th at 3:30 p.m.
We provide the Legos, you provide the imagination.

AKA Science: Earth Rocks!
Tuesday, June 20th at 3:00 p.m.
Shake things up by exploring the exciting world around you. Catch the wind, discover hidden rock colors, make a mini tornado and more! Fun earth science based activities for elementary aged kids at the library.

Art in Action
for elementary and middle school ages
Wednesday, June 21st at 3:30 p.m.
Art in Action is a hands on approach to learning about famous artists. Each month we will read about a famous artist and then explore their style and techniques as we create our own masterpieces.

Alex Zerbe

Alex is a master of physical comedy, juggling and magic.

Teen Programs

Teen Creative Collective
Thursday, June 22nd at 5:00 p.m.
Each month we’ll feature different materials and crafts for teens! In June we’ll be trying out projects featuring materials found in nature. Materials & snacks provided by the library.

Super Smash Bros Tournament
Tuesday, June 27th at 6:00 p.m.
Teens are invited to battle it out on the library’s Wii-U! Featuring prizes, snacks, and board games between rounds.
